Overview

HDR is currently seeking a Project Manager General Assistant to support multidisciplinary design teams on U.S. Government projects across the Southwestern United States and South Korea.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of a Project Manager to support the management of multidisciplinary design teams across various Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
  • Support all phases of project development—from planning and design through construction support—ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and review scopes of work, cost estimates, and schedules; track progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate internal design activities and manage external subconsultants to meet project objectives.
  • Remain current with changes to applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, and incorporate those into project deliverables.
  • Support quality control reviews and perform project engineering duties as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 5 years related experience.
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience designing and/or delivering projects for federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent schedules.
  • Interest in advancing digital delivery and AI‑enabled workflows in infrastructure projects.
