Skilled Welder; MIG​/TIG​/Stick

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Welder role in Forest Grove, OR. • Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal components and structures according to specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding and fabrication processes.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet project timelines and production goals.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.
• Accurately document completed work, materials used, and production data as required.
• Assist with additional shop duties and production tasks as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or prior welding/fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools, and understand welding symbols.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding processes is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and proper PPE usage required.
