Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale has been a respected leader in healthcare since its founding in 1938. Additional services include cancer care, kidney and lung transplant, orthopaedics, palliative care, robotics, sickle cell, surgical weight loss, a Level I trauma center and an on-site fitness center.Pool time Varies Hours per pay period. 7am-7:30pm with (5) twelve (12) hour shits per four week schedule and two shifts must be schedule on a weekend. Meets or exceeds educational requirements set for by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) to become a Respiratory Therapist. Two years experience with at least one in Critical Care preferred. Knowledge in Critical Care must be current. Current BLS and ACLS cards from American Heart Association. NRP/PALS card a plus. Strong customer and communications skills a must. Perinatal Pediatric preferred. Knowledge in critical care must be current. Under limited supervision, provides quality respiratory care in an appropriate, safe and cost effective manner in accordance with Broward Health policy, regulatory standards and clinical practice guidelines. Provides patient care, diagnostic testing, recommendations and education to ensure optimal patient outcomes based upon best practice.
