As a Business Analyst at Overseas Food Trading Ltd, you will contribute directly to the development and delivery of technology-enabled solutions that improve business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture business needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and help drive projects from design through implementation. This role is designed for individuals with strong analytical skills, a curiosity for technology, and a desire to learn hands‑on solution delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
This position will support the Director, Program Management and Business Technology team in analyzing core business processes, implementing system enhancements, ensuring data integrity, and enabling adoption of new tools and processes across the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Requirements & Process Analysis- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs, challenges, and current processes.
- Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications to guide development and implementation.
- Maintain accurate process documentation, workflows, and technical reference guides.
- Solution Development & Delivery
- Assist in designing, testing, and rolling out new technology solutions aligned with business goals.
- Support EDI partner onboarding, data mapping, and integration with internal and third‑party systems.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to measure project success, adoption, and benefits realization.
- Validate, clean, and organize data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Training & Adoption
- Develop and maintain technical and business documentation to support knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate training and enablement activities to drive successful adoption of new tools and processes.
- Provide ongoing support post‑implementation to monitor solution performance and user satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with guidance.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a curious, critical thinker and self‑starter who takes initiative and seeks opportunities to improve processes and outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (internships included).
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Experience with documentation concepts & tools (Word, PowerPoint, Confluence, etc.).
- Familiarity with workflow documentation and analysis:
Swim lanes, Flowcharts, VSM. - Familiarity with automation tools, Make, Power Automate, Apps Script
- Familiarity with Google Sites or similar web content management tools.

Soft Skills: - Exposure to ERP systems.
- Experience in leveraging technology to enhance systems and processes.
- Exposure to AI and its benefit.
- Experience in the logistics, food, or technology industry.
Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills.
- Frequent standing and sitting. Intermittent squatting, bending, twisting, lifting. This position requires excellent visual acuity and auditory sense. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- Onsite at our Fort Lee, NJ office most days.
