Shape future water management at Suncor as a Hydrologist located in Fort McMurray. Take the lead in hydrological studies, ensuring sustainable and responsible mining practices.
This role requires extensive expertise in hydrology and environmental assessments, emphasizing the importance of innovative water management solutions. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive hydrological studies and assessments
• Design and implement monitoring and reporting programs
• Analyze and interpret surface water chemistry data
• Contribute to innovative modeling practices
• Collaborate across teams on water-related initiatives
Requirements:
• 7 years of experience in hydrology preferred
• Bachelor’s in Environmental or Civil Engineering
• P.Eng. designation required
• Demonstrated experience in water modelling and design
• Master’s degree is a plus
