Great careers begin with great opportunities! The Invo-Progressus team is currently searching for full-time and part-time licensed mental health professionals to provide services in a school-based setting for the 2020-2021 school year. This position is part of our IMPACT (Invo Multidisciplinary Program to Address Childhood Trauma) team which utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of students struggling with mental health challenges and social/emotional issues at home and school.

IMPACT therapists incorporate best practices into the diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and service delivery process. Interventions are delivered in a school setting and via telehealth from the school as necessary by licensed mental health professionals experienced in providing trauma-informed care. Our interventions draw upon field-tested, evidence-based protocols while encouraging academic progress. Our student-centered approach draws on each student's strengths and incorporates principles of positive behavior supports when needed. Individual, family and group-based interventions are utilized when appropriate, with the goal of establishing healthy behaviors that will serve the student throughout his/her lifetime.

Knowledge of behavior support interventions is also utilized to help students achieve and classrooms to run more effectively. A Behavior Analyst is available to consult on cases and provide education on implementing behavior as well.

IMPACT therapists work in close collaboration with school staff and administrators and are in constant communication with the school mental health liaison. They are considered a representative of the school, and participate in school mental health team meetings, but regular support is provided by an IMPACT clinical supervisor.

The guiding philosophy behind IMPACT intervention services recognizes the severe implications of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). By understanding how to manage or ameliorate the effects of ACEs, student-guided IMPACT intervention can change children's lives for the better. By identifying root causes of behavior, the IMPACT therapist creates treatment plans that will yield long term positive effects. The ramifications of failing to address ACEs, specifically when present at a high threshold in each child, can be catastrophic for their future mental and physical health.

For more than twenty years, Invo-Progressus has been providing therapeutic services that create better outcomes for children. The Invo-Progressus team is comprised of some of the nation's most talented and influential education and therapy leaders, all of whom have a keen understanding of how to meet the unique needs of school districts, children and families and help them succeed. We are committed to helping children and families, school leaders and clinicians achieve success.
