We’re seeking a Managing Director to help lead us into our next season of growth.
Role DescriptionThe Managing Director serves as the chief executive leader of Safe Connections and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission, financial stability, and strategic objectives.
This role provides high-level leadership, governance support, grant oversight, and community representation while delegating daily site operations to Site Managers and financial processing to an outsourced CPA firm. The Managing Director works in close partnership with the Board of Directors to ensure long-term sustainability, compliance, and program excellence.
As our Managing Director, you’ll be the “big-picture” leader who keeps everything moving forward:
- ✔ Partner closely with our Board of Directors
- ✔ Lead grants, fundraising, and donor relationships
- ✔ Oversee budgets, payroll approvals, and major expenses
- ✔ Supervise and support Site Managers
- ✔ Represent Safe Connections in the community and courts
- ✔ Coordinate with our CPA firm
- ✔ Help plan and support fundraising events ans donor programs
- ✔ Serve as the friendly, professional “face” of the organization
- ✔ Have a bachelor’s degree and strong leadership experience
- ✔ Have worked in supervised visitation, family services, or nonprofit leadership
- ✔ Are comfortable with grants, fundraising, and budgets
- ✔ Communicate clearly and build great relationships
- ✔ Are organized, dependable, and mission-focused
- ✔ Know your way around technology and systems
- ✔ Are “good with people” (really good)
- Bonus points if you’ve worked closely with boards or led nonprofits before.
- Full-Time (Exempt, 40 hours/week)
- Salary: $60,000 + performance-based bonus
- Some evenings/weekends for events or meetings
