Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a strategic and results‑driven Site Merchandiser to drive planning and execution of page‑level merchandising on In this role, you will ensure that merchandising strategy translates into measurable in‑market results by owning the performance of our highest traffic and promotional pages.
The ideal candidate will maintain a consistent weekly review of cadence to monitor, validate, and improve page performance across all categories—balancing creative merchandising vision with data‑driven decision‑making. By bridging merchandising intent with business outcomes, you will play a key part in driving online sales performance through operational excellence, flawless execution, and a relentless focus on conversion and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities- Serve as the accountable owner for performance on Sweetwater's highest‑traffic pages, ensuring these critical customer touchpoints receive consistent attention through a dedicated weekly review rhythm
- Responsible for driving eCommerce sales through innovative, effective, and profitable merchandising strategies
- Monitor KPIs and use insights to make data‑driven decisions for improving product assortments, promotions, and merchandising tactics
- Implement strategies to enhance conversion rates and average order value
- Translate performance trends into actionable recommendations that keep key page metrics trending upward over time
- Support promotional efforts by monitoring promotional page performance while campaigns are live
- Identify opportunities to improve results across the page
- Optimize product placement and suggest improvements for promotional banner placements to improve discoverability and navigation
- Integrate merchant‑curated product selections in revenue‑driving ways
- Own page‑level reporting across all categories and maintain a consistent weekly performance cadence to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, site merchandising, or related digital marketing role
- Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, trends, and digital merchandising tactics
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with SEO principles, on‑site search optimization, and A/B testing
- Hands on experience with Google Analytics (GA4) preferred
