Inspection Supervisor

• Supervise represented Quality Inspection employees in Final Assembly by managing job assignments, training, and time off while assuring that Quality, Cost and Schedule goals are achieved.
• Implement company Policies and Procedures to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and Aero Codes.
• Assist employees with computer system and documentation.
• Perform area FOD audits and interact with the production and DCMA customers.
• Work with the Corrective Action team to help drive area improvements, RCCA, and employee feedback.

• Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications and applying their intent for evaluating acceptance of product quality.
• Experience using manufacturing processes, specifications, inspection criteria, and quality engineering practices.
• Experience in developing and interpreting quality data and QA/Test.

• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated ability to use processes related to labs/testing techniques, corrective action/problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to lead teams, make and influence decisions.
• Excellent teaming skills – must interface with all levels of management, technical and floor personnel in a multi‑organizational environment.
• Union environment experience.
• Experienced user of QADS, VAS, PDM, JDL, SFM.
• Experience in Microsoft office applications.
