** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a defense industry location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through established channels.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.

+ Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or access authorization, and support control of sensitive areas in accordance with site protocols and post orders.

+ Assist with incident response, de-escalation, and/or coordination with local authorities and site leadership while maintaining professional armed presence and following all applicable procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
