Enhance student learning as an Elementary Teacher and Counsellor with School District No. 59 in Chetwynd, BC. Focus on creating supportive environments for students across multiple settings.

This role is perfect for those with a Master's Degree in Counselling, as you will work alongside teams in Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge to assess and design interventions that cater to students' diverse needs. You will deliver support individually or in small groups while coordinating with teachers and external agencies, ensuring that students thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ needs for effective intervention

• Collaborate with educators for comprehensive support

• Deliver interventions in various learning environments

• Provide guidance to district intervention staff

• Participate in essential district meetings

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Counselling

• Current BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate

• Skilled in adapting curriculum for diverse needs

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
