• Provide direct clinical patient care and assess, plan, implement care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis.
• Assume responsibility for unit‑level patient care coordination and integration based on the nursing process.
• Supervise and delegate care to appropriate staff.
• Support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care across all disciplines, maintaining standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control.
• Perform all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies or disasters.
• Know hospital emergency codes and follow hospital policies and procedures for each code.

• Graduated from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing as required by law or state regulation.
• CPR certification.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing.
