TEKsystems has a need for an IT support specialist supporting our Government IT team in and around Lexington, KY. We will be looking for a very knowledgeable & experienced technician with a high aptitude for customer service. Along with desktop duties which include (but not limited to) working on tablets, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and phones, the candidate may be required to assist with security cameras, servers, and network switches.

• Desktop and Peripherals Support - 24 months of experience as a technical support professional
• Windows 10 and O365 Troubleshooting and Support - expertise in supporting end user issues will be critical.
• HW / SW troubleshooting and break / fix - Must be able to connect with the customer, show customer service attitude, and think outside the box to solve problems.

• Because local travel is required, this person must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record (company vehicles are also available).
• Customer service is huge, excellent communication, team player, and someone that is willing to ask for help when needed.
• Enthusiasm and passion for the job is very important.
• Customer service skills are equally as important and technical skills.
• Must be willing / able to work in a fast paced environment.

Intermediate Level

The candidate must be able to pass abackgroundcheck and drug test prior to starting.
