HVAC Technician – Franklin, VA

• Diagnose, repair, and install HVAC equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, boilers, burners, fans, economizers, humidifiers, controls, and packaged units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems such as conveyors, presses, and other plant equipment.
• Read mechanical prints and diagrams, including HVAC system schematics.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Use power tools and heavy equipment as required.
• Complete maintenance records and manage continuous evaluation of maintenance program requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Must be able to sit, use hands, reach, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires steady vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work may involve exposure to noise, heat, cold, or low light conditions.

• Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Critical thinking and predictive maintenance skills.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Strong teamwork, cooperation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.
• Willingness to cross‑train and learn new technical skills.
• Comfortable using maintenance computer systems for work orders, inventory, and reporting.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• HVAC certification required.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Technician certification.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience and leadership skills.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment.
• Must meet the physical demands described above.
