You Will Do

The Senior Quality Technician ensures that products and processes meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, defects, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain accurate quality records, including inspection data, test results, and audit documentation
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and cross‑functional teams to drive quality and process improvements
  • Lead investigations of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and verify effectiveness
  • Support supplier quality and assist with customer quality issues and complaint resolution
  • Serve as a QA role model by demonstrating strong leadership and promoting quality standards
  • Coordinate daily QA activities and support production and customer priorities
  • Communicate quality concerns and improvement opportunities to the QA Manager
  • Attend required daily and weekly meetings representing Quality
  • Support a positive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Ensure departmental tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new or temporary employees
  • Monitor lab and inspection supplies and report needs to the QA Manager
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Quality experience; 5+ years in QA/QC
  • Strong knowledge of quality methods, inspections, and GD&T; able to read engineering drawings
  • Proficient with inspection tools and Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Proven problem‑solving, communication, and technician leadership skills
  • Effective in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience with Keyence CMM systems and ISO 9001 quality systems, including audit support
  • Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma principles and root cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, RCCA)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience mentoring or leading technicians in a quality environment
