The WWR&R Finance team seeks a self‑driven Finance Manager excited about solving complex problems that have a customer‑facing impact, require strategic long‑term thinking and help drive the 4 zeroes.

As the Finance Manager, you will partner directly with business and finance teams to identify the right business strategies, help define roadmaps, and provide guidance and reporting. You will play a critical role in communicating business strategy and results with company leadership up to the SVP level. You will own planning and reporting that supports a Senior Executive Team member's goal.

You will lead planning cycles for the org, to deliver robust OP plans that are challenging yet realistic. You will influence business model, long‑term vision and decisions that will substantially reduce cost to serve customers. You will have a strong operational and controllership mindset as we continue our mission to build best‑in‑class reverse logistics processes.

The successful candidate has demonstrated the following abilities: they influence business owners, support thoughtful decision‑making, and adapt to a rapidly‑evolving environment. They collaborate with senior executives and various business units across Amazon. They bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful candidate is an effective multitasker, adept at identifying high‑priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, is excited about solving complex problems that affect company‑wide strategic decisions, and is able to zoom in and out to the desired level of detail depending on the stakeholders.

They have the ability to go deep into the details, but also to simplify the story to what matters for an executive audience.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Lead planning cycles for the WW Returns and Recommerce org, bringing together a large number of stakeholders, getting them organized, pulling together high quality financials, and sharing a clear story with senior executives.
  • Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact.
  • Use SQL, financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets. Outputs plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
  • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events.
  • Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.
  • Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring peers and team members. Seek and leverage diverse perspectives in all activities.
  • Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
  • Contribute to work‑life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence.
