Data Scientist, Level 4

We are recruiting a Senior Data Scientist with a current TS/SCI w/ poly to support a critical program located in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Relevant experience must be two or more of the following:

• Designing/implementing machine learning
• Data science
• Advanced analytical algorithms
• Programming (skill in at least one high-level language, e.g., Python)
• Statistical analysis (e.g., variability, sampling error, inference, hypothesis testing, EDA, application of linear models)
• Data management (data cleaning and transformation)
• Data mining
• Data modeling and assessment
• Artificial intelligence
• Software engineering

Required experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience. Associate’s degree and 17 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics/Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research or Computer Science. A broader range of degrees will be considered if accompanied by a Certificate in Data Science from an accredited college/university.

Pay Range:
Many factors can influence final salary including geographic location, contract categories, prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Target salary for this position is between $225k-$250k, depending on experience.
