Telus Health Retirement Consulting offers over 60 years of experience in pension and savings administration, actuarial, compensation, and overall financial well‑being consulting. The Pension Analyst role supports our corporate clients by providing quality, client‑focused administrative services using the Ariel record‑keeping platform.

• Respond to plan inquiries and client requests promptly and professionally
• Assist in calculating and processing timely termination, retirement, and death benefits for simple plans
• Support the consulting team in fostering strong client relationships
• Help coordinate information flow between clients and trustees
• Assist in reconciling plan assets and memberships
• Support the preparation of year‑end annual pension statements
• Assist in preparing membership and asset data for actuarial valuations
• Apply and interpret basic pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan provisions and legislative requirements
• Ensure data accuracy in pension databases
• Attend internal training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and topics
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to add value
• Assist with special projects as required to support team goals

• Strong interest in pension administration and a desire to learn
• Post‑secondary education (preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science) or relevant courses related to pension administration
• Basic knowledge of Defined Benefit pension plans and provincial pension and tax legislation (asset but not required)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong client‑service focus with exceptional professional acumen
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with ease
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

$39,900 – $74,100 CAD Annual
