Position Overview

The Full‑Time Bank Teller requires outstanding customer service skills to provide courteous, professional, efficient, and accurate service to customers while processing transactions. The teller strives to understand customers’ needs, develop satisfied and loyal customers by exceeding expectations, and cross‑sell products or services that benefit the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify and post all savings and loan transactions and handle money order sales.
  • Cash check and maintain an orderly cash drawer, ensuring safety and settlement.
  • Complete CTRs in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and answer product and service questions.
  • Answer the phone as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management related to the bank and its functions.
Qualifications and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 2 years of bank teller experience.
  • Experience counting cash and maintaining the cash drawer in an orderly manner.
  • Knowledge of check‑clearing procedures.
  • Good mathematical skills.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • Experience selling bank products and services preferred.
  • Experience processing loan payments preferred.
  • Ability to help with ATM and debit card problems.
Work Hours

40 hours per week; hours vary Monday through Saturday.

Pay Details
