Functional Safety Execution- Analyze and understand functional safety requirements for Sitara devices (AM62A, AM62P, AM275, J7
AEN, AM283). - Develop Functional Safety work products across Plan, Create, and Validate phases.
- Produce and maintain documentation including SAR, SRS, FMEDA, FMA, DFA, Co‑existance analysis, and Functional Safety Manual.
- Review and validate safety deliverables with TI engineering teams.
- Drive IP FMAs, traceability, and third‑party IP verification.
- Collaborate with SOC RTL, DFT, Product Engineering, Physical Design, and Program Management teams.
- Track deliverables and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
- Support customer technical queries as Level‑2 support when required.
- Facilitate TÜV reviews and drive findings to closure.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.
- Improve Functional Safety flows and quality within the Processors organization.
- Monitor milestones and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Provide regular status and risk reporting.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and transition planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 10+ years of functional safety or semiconductor experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
- Demonstrated experience creating Functional Safety work products.
- Experience working with cross‑functional semiconductor teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to resolve customer and technical issues.
- Experience with Sitara or similar MPU/SoC platforms.
- Prior TÜV interaction or certification support experience.
- Background in automotive or industrial safety applications.
- Experience in hybrid global team environments.
- Hybrid work arrangement within the United States.
- Onsite approximately 3 days per week for the first 3 months.
- Hybrid there after based on project needs.
- Flexible 24‑hour workweek aligned to program demands.
- Functional Safety work products delivered per the end client’s milestones.
- Effective cross‑team coordination and issue resolution.
