Sr. Credit Analyst

The Sr. Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients and managing the credit risk of the organization. This position involves conducting thorough financial analysis, evaluating credit reports, and making informed recommendations to support lending decisions. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure that credit policies are adhered to while also identifying opportunities for improvement.

By providing insights and data-driven assessments, the Sr. Credit Analyst will help the organization maintain a healthy balance between risk and profitability. Ultimately, this role is essential for safeguarding the financial integrity of the company and fostering sustainable growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and lending practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Credit Professional (CCP).
  • Experience with credit risk modeling and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of clients to assess credit risk and determine credit limits.
  • Review and interpret credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documentation.
  • Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to develop credit policies and procedures.
  • Monitor existing credit accounts and perform regular reviews to ensure compliance with credit terms.
