Job Overview

Our client in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Sit‑Down Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety‑minded, and experienced in operating sit‑down forklifts in a fast‑paced storage or distribution environment. The operator will handle inbound and outbound materials, maintain accurate inventory movement, and ensure the warehouse remains organized and efficient.

• Operate a sit‑down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials safely.
• Transport pallets, crates, and inventory throughout the warehouse and storage areas.
• Perform accurate receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of materials.
• Inspect forklift daily and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain clean, organized aisles and storage zones.
• Follow all OSHA, facility, and equipment safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including palletizing, labeling, and inventory counts.
• Use scanners or basic warehouse systems to track material movement (if applicable).

7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Full‑time position; schedule may vary based on warehouse needs.
• OSHA trained.
• Indoor warehouse environment with exposure to typical material‑handling conditions.

No degree required.

1–4 years.

• 1+ year of sit‑down forklift experience in a warehouse, storage, or distribution environment.
• Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safety‑focused environment.
