AI Agentic Agent Architecture

We are seeking a visionary AI Agentic Systems Architect for a full-time, on-site role at our Gaithersburg, MD headquarters. In this role, you will be a part of architectural design and development of our next-generation, multi-agent AI systems. You will build supervisory and orchestrator agent networks designed to fully automate and optimize complex transit workflows—spanning reservation logic, real-time rider support, dynamic ride-sharing algorithms, and automated back-office route planning.

• Learn the field requirements and analyze the clients workflow processes, determine the agentic agent application to each part of work flow and supervisory agent to coordinate the multiple agents actions.
• Architect Multi-Agent Systems:
  Design scalable, fault-tolerant orchestrator and supervisor agent frameworks to automate end-to-end transportation workflows.
• Develop Intelligent Behaviors:
  Implement advanced decision-making logic, guardrails, and tool-use capabilities within AI agents.
• Lead R&D Initiatives:
  Research, prototype, and benchmark frontier AI models, agentic workflows, and emerging machine learning techniques.
• Optimize At Scale:
  Refine and tune data pipelines and multi-agent routing algorithms to maximize low-latency performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
  Work directly with engineering, product, and data infrastructure teams to deploy enterprise-grade AI production environments.

• Deep AI Expertise:
  Strong mastery of Machine Learning, LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain, Auto Gen, CrewAI), and Agent-based modeling.
• Production Coding
  
  Skills:
  
  High proficiency in modern backend stacks, prioritizing Python alongside robust experience in Java or C++.
• Systems Design Mastery:
  Proven hands-on experience architectural design patterns, distributed systems, and the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Cloud & Data Fluency:
  Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, and data architecture best practices.
• Advanced Academic Foundation: A Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a deeply quantitative field.
• Industry Advantage:
  Prior exposure to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), transit routing software, or heavy logistics data is a massive plus.
• Recent Graduate with high impact school project in related area welcome to apply.
