About This Role
The RN– Acute Medical Emergency Team at Cleveland Clinic provides urgent care to patients at risk of clinical deterioration, performing critical interventions and delivering exceptional care throughout the patient journey.
Highlights- Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
- Location: Garfield Heights, OH
- Facility: Marymount Hospital
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required
- Will consider military RN experience
Certifications:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required upon hire or within one year of hire for roles that support pediatric patients
