The New Grad RN Resident position at Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to provide exceptional care in a supportive environment. This role offers a comprehensive residency program to enhance clinical skills while delivering care to diverse patient populations.

  • Pay: $33.50 - $53.60/hour
What You'll Do
  • Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
  • Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
  • Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
  • Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
  • Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
  • Document in patients’ medical records.
  • Assist in delivering exceptional care by interacting directly with patients, families, and visitors.
  • Perform typical nursing care including IV access, phlebotomy, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Focus on cardiac disorders such as heart failure and arrhythmias.
  • Engage in patient education and blood product administration.
Requirements Education
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Experience
  • New grad or less than one year of RN work experience required
  • Experience moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care clinical inpatient setting with less than one year of current acute direct patient care RN experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required
