Job Overview

Charge Registered Nurse Preop Pacu provides quality patient care, delivered in a timely and cost‑effective manner within all clinical areas of the facility, including pre‑procedure, post‑procedure, and procedure rooms. This includes ensuring the center’s nursing activities comply with necessary legal, regulatory and accreditation standards. The candidate must assess patient data, interpret information to meet requirements, maintain calmness in crisis, direct staff, and be dependable and cooperative with physicians and coworkers.

Scope includes orthopedics, GYN, ENT, general surgery, gastroenterology, pain management, and plastics. The ideal candidate focuses on excellent customer service, multi‑tasking, flexibility, infection control, professional competency, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Texas RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• One year of leadership experience in an intra‑operative setting.
• Demonstrated clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
