Job SummaryCoates Inc. is seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Intern to support our operations team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while contributing to key administrative initiatives in a dynamic and professional environment. You’ll work closely with the Executive Director to assist in implementing organizational strategies and enhancing overall efficiency.
Start Date:
Fall 2026/Spring 2027
Hours:
5‑10 hours/week, including weekly planning meetings with your supervisor
Pay: $12.00/hour
Responsibilities- Assist in the management of day‑to‑day administrative tasks and operations.
- Support project management activities related to programming and events.
- Help organize and maintain documentation, files, and databases.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate scheduling for meetings and events, including logistics and materials.
- Conduct research and compile information for projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members as needed.
- Contribute to improving internal processes and team collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Previous internship or related experience in administration or project management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
- Familiarity with data management tools and project management software is a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Genuine enthusiasm for supporting operational processes and enhancing service quality.
- Self‑starter with good time‑management skills.
