Mission:The Global Suppliers Partnerships Senior Manager role is responsible for managing key NEXUS suppliers, developing and maintaining strong relationships within the NEXUS community, and driving business development.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and prepare comprehensive business reviews with responsible suppliers.
- Analyze supplier performance, identify areas for improvement, and set strategic goals for the upcoming year.
- Actively follow up on interactions between suppliers and NEXUS members to ensure smooth communication and mutual benefit.
- Facilitate collaboration between suppliers and members, addressing any concerns or opportunities for partnership.
- Identify potential business opportunities between suppliers and members, proactively facilitating introductions and joint ventures.
- Support suppliers in leveraging the NEXUS community for growth and expanding market presence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for solving operational issues between suppliers and members. Address supply chain disruptions, performance issues, or any concerns raised by suppliers or members in a timely manner.
- Serve as the direct contact person for assigned suppliers, managing ongoing communication and ensuring their needs are met within the NEXUS ecosystem. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers.
- Scout and identify potential new suppliers who align with NEXUS’s strategic goals.
- Assess supplier capabilities and compatibility and assist with the onboarding process when necessary.
- Assist the SVP for Global Suppliers Partnerships in strategic planning, reporting, and execution of supplier initiatives.
- Provide input on supplier strategy and performance improvements.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B partnerships, key account management, supplier management or business development in the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Strong ability to build trusted relationships and manage senior stakeholders in an international environment.
- Proven experience leading annual business reviews, performance tracking, and action plans with partners.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, connect stakeholders, and drive mutual growth.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle operational issues/escalations effectively and diplomatically.
- Fluent in English (German and/or another European language is a plus).
- Willing to travel internationally when required.
