Bid Manager (m/f)

Responsibilities

  • Leading bids with full responsibility of:

    • following our processes

    • estimating, requesting, controlling bid budget

    • bid team crafting and daily work orchestration

  • Responsible for the creation of high quality and compliant offers

  • Responsible for Risk Management (identification & mitigation actions) for managed bids

  • Responsible for the handover of a won bid into delivery

  • Responsible for lessons learnt of a lost bid

  • Contributes in defining the financial business case with Sales and Financial Architect

  • Contributes to challenge the solution with Sales, Solution Team and Management

  • Responsible for the coordination of proposal project plan and implementation, budget, processes, risk management & strategy and all quality aspects related to the proposal process

  • Working closely with Sales

Profile and skills

  • University degree (HF/FH) in economics, finance, management or a comparable education and training

  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience

  • Good team coach, i.e. has good leadership qualities to form, motivate and lead an interdepartmental (often remotely) team

  • Minimum basic financial calculation skills (effort, cost, risk, margin)

  • Write up skills, quality in language and content of written proposals

  • Graphic flair, i.e. ensuring that the final form of the offer document is visually appealing and in line with corporate branding guideliness

  • Creativity- out of the box thinking and result-oriented

  • Able to lead client conversation around demand, proposal details

  • Communicative (open minded, people-friendly, understanding cultures)

  • Self-organized, responsible person

  • Willing to travel across Switzerland and Europe on a short-term basis

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PPT, Excel) and any Project Management tools

  • Language skills: French or German mother tongue, fluent in English
