Job Overview
Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience continually evolve. In this learning role, new associates work with their team to build skills and proficiencies, completing new employee training and preparing for promotion to Mobile Expert.
Job Responsibilities- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers while providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty by helping customers pick up where they left off in their shopping journey, exploring individual needs, and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store. Side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan that keep customers connected to the people and lifestyle they love.
- Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools in interactions to demonstrate coverage strength in customers’ neighborhoods, explain how our plans allow unlimited usage, and stay up‑to‑date on innovations in wireless and technology.
- Establish relationships and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service, to collectively own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify and handoff small business leads, and support team initiatives while fostering an inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required)
Skills and Abilities
- Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and engaging customers.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with peers and store leaders, sharing ideas and providing customer resolutions.
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- At least 18 years of age.

CompensationHourly base pay of $19.50 plus $5.00 training pay per hour. After 90 days, Mobile Associates who complete on‑the‑job training may receive an annualized incentive target of up to $18,000, in addition to guaranteed base pay.
