Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services.
As a learning role, new associates work with their team and proactively build skills and proficiencies in preparation for the next level up as a Mobile Expert. They are required to successfully complete new employee training.
Job Responsibilities- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, while providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty by helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology in‑store.
- Side‑by‑side sell to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan.
- Approach service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
- Use digital tools consistently in interactions and onboarding to demonstrate coverage, plans, training on in‑store experience, new skills and processes, and knowledge of systems and reference resources.
- Seek out information between customers, learning about innovations in wireless and technology.
- Establish relationships and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
- Collectively identify and hand off small business leads and support team initiatives and an inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required)
Skills and Abilities
- Passionate customer advocate with a desire to be authentic when connecting and having fun doing it (Required)
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues (Required)
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)
- At least 18 years of age

Hourly Base Pay: $19.50 plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days of hiring, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. Once completed, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees at T‑Mobile are guaranteed to earn $20 per hour inclusive of base pay and incentives.
All employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
