• Install gas service in accordance with applicable codes and set tanks accordingly.
• Properly size and install gas lines as necessary.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fuel systems and appliances.
• Make necessary connections to appliances according to code.
• Perform gas checks and prepare proper documentation.
• Perform pressure tests and document results.
• Perform repairs on appliances and equipment.
• Troubleshoot appliance and equipment malfunctions to determine the problem.
• Perform necessary repairs.
• Complete work orders, documenting materials used and time expended.
• Read meters.
• Verify meter serial numbers.
• Record meter readings on a delivery ticket.
• Return recorded readings to office for processing.
• Collect delinquent accounts.
• Verify customer address and tank serial number.
• Disconnect gas service if no arrangements can be made.
• Reconnect services and relight appliances as required.
• Perform tank and equipment maintenance; visually inspect tanks per ASME and DOT regulations.
• Check tanks for leaks and make necessary repairs.
• Scrape and paint tanks as necessary.
• Properly identify tanks with company decals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
