Job Description

We are currently hiring for substitute teaching and paraprofessional positions on a daily, short‑term, and long‑term basis across Georgetown Public Schools, including Georgetown High School, Penn Brook Elementary School, & Georgetown Middle School.

The assignments include:

  • Daily substitute teaching for elementary, middle, and high school students.
  • Short‑term substitute teaching assignments.
  • Long‑term teaching assignments.
  • Paraprofessional support roles.

Compensation rates:

  • Teachers: $125 per day
  • Nurses: $150 per day
  • Paraprofessionals: $15 per hour
  • Building‑based substitutes: $130 per day

Hired positions are subject to satisfactory CORI & SAFIS background checks pursuant to 603 CMR 51.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and DESE license preferred. Previous work experience in a public school setting preferred. Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
