This position may include specific content, but is also open to individual professional strengths. The Teacher will be responsible for building strong professional relationships, making data-driven decisions, and assisting students in reaching their college or career aspirations.
The District uses the Danielson Instructional Framework, and is committed to the PLC process. Extra duty coaching/activity assignments may be available for those interested and qualified. A competitive base salary, matching years of experience for incoming candidates, and a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, life, and long-term disability options are offered.
The Board of Education, in conjunction with the Superintendent and the Gering Education Association, annually review the compensation format and needs of our staff in order to keep a competitive pay structure in place.
