Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Full‑time nights, 12‑hour shifts 6:45 pm – 7:00 am. Up to $10,000 sign‑on bonus.
How You’ll ContributeProvide patient care in the Progressive Care Department – PCU – using the nursing process: interview, assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and triage. Work in a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning and utilizes cutting‑edge technology.
Essential Functions- Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care.
- Document patient care. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient and family.
- Detect changes in patient status, report to the appropriate health‑care team member, and utilize resources as dictated by acuity.
- Assign priorities to patient problems, giving highest priority to the most urgent and critical issues.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition and ambulation.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred. - Active Arizona or Compact RN License.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
