TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Gilbert, Arizona.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit, working within company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment, ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination at all times including accurate records of traceability of all endoscopes and associated equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment within the clinical area in accordance with established standards and regulations.

The ideal RN should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and a BLS certification. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

• Experience in Endoscopy with knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopic procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation and analgesia.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when moving patients. Endo RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
