Utility Electrician

The Utility Electrician reports to the Wells Utility Supervisor
. The primary duties of this position include:

• Actively participate and accomplish organizational, departmental, and workgroup goals and objectives.
• Install, alter, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage.
• Design functional electrical circuits for electrical systems.
• Reduce energy use actively.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues at booster and well sites.
• Review and close work orders.
• Create regular reports based on department activity.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of specialized or technical training beyond high school in electrical systems integration and system control wiring.
• Completion of an accredited four‑year electrical apprenticeship program.
• 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Certified as a Journeyman Electrician.
• ADEQ – Grade I Water Distribution or Water Treatment Certification within 1 year of hire.

This position is an at‑will position and is FLSA non‑exempt, eligible for overtime compensation.

This position has been designated as a medium work position, spending a majority of the workday in a Water Treatment Plant and/or an outdoor environment.
