Animal Medical Center of Wyoming in Gillette, WY, was founded in 1991 by Colorado State University grads Dr. Darren Lynde and Dr. Marshall Kohr. Our hospital has been a staple in the community for over 30 years. We are deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. Our hospital is a full‑service, mixed animal practice primarily treating dogs, cats, horses, and cows, with occasional care for pocket pets and other large animals like goats, pigs, llamas, and donkeys.
State‑of‑the‑ArtFacilities
- Small Animal Hospital: Six exam rooms, surgery suite, Sound‑Elkin digital radiography, digital dental radiography, GE Logic digital ultrasound with Doppler, and access to Pet Rays for advanced image interpretation.
- Large Animal Hospital: Equine exam area, endoscopy, surgical area for non‑intubation procedures, cattle chute, heated barn with seven stalls, clinic trucks for house calls, and Arthrex ACS and PRP systems.
- Advanced Dentistry: Full mouth radiographs for every patient and advanced training for new veterinarians and technicians with a board‑certified dentist.
- Comprehensive Services: Boarding, cremation services, and a pet food outlet.

Compensation for Part‑Time roles is prorated based on experience and hours/shifts worked. Salary ranges listed in this posting reflect full‑time roles.

- Evaluate and monitor protocols for the daily running of the hospital from intake to discharge
