Mechanical Engineer - Glasgow
Based in the depot in Glasgow, the Mechanical Engineer plays a key role in our operations, performing mechanical repairs, assembly and servicing on our range of industrial products, including power tools, lifting equipment and machinery with petrol and diesel engines. You will ensure all repairs and maintenance of equipment are prioritised effectively, supporting the depot to deliver a safe, reliable and high-quality service to our customers.
Qualifications- Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or another engineering field
- Knowledge of petrol and diesel engines
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy
