Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting an Associate Director specialising in civils design for its Glasgow office.
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual with experience working on nuclear new build projects.
Job Responsibilities- Leads the delivery of our current portfolio of projects at Sizewell C
- Develops and owns Sizewell C growth plan, including development of value propositions and partnerships to position Tony Gee strategically at Sizewell C
- Works to reinforce existing and form new relationships with key clients and stakeholders to realise growth plan targets at Sizewell C
- Works to establish local supply chain partners to support delivery, contributing to Sizewell C social value objectives
- Identifies, tracks and maintains leads and enquiries, ensuring these are captured accurately in market pipeline
- Lead point of contact for Tony Gee at Sizewell C site, attending meetings as required with clients/ stakeholders
- Works with Head of Power & Energy and Nuclear Group Director to lead business development/ Tony Gee sector profile development, representing the business at key industry events
- Leads production of Sizewell C bid responses with support from technical and business development teams
- Responsible for overall performance of Sizewell C projects within the market at portfolio level, working with Project Directors, Project Engineers and Technical Leads to ensure project objectives are achieved
- Proves technical and project delivery leadership within field of expertise
- Responsible for staying abreast of relevant industry standards and protocols
- Responsible for nuclear SQEP review of staff prior to deployment on projects
- Promoting a health, safety and welfare culture
- Civil/ structural design of nuclear new build projects
- Multidisciplinary design, project and commercial management of projects
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Client focus
- Experience working on nuclear life extension of decommissioning projects
- Civil/ structural engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
- Chartered Engineer or equivalent industry experience
