• Embed scientific strategy and rigour into end‑to‑end product development.
• Provide internal scientific guidance, advising on formulation, efficacy and clinical relevance.
• Translate complex science into actionable insights for non‑technical teams.
• Manage external partners including dermatologists, testing labs and research institutions.
• Oversee clinical and user testing programmes, interpreting and communicating results.
• Stay ahead of dermatological and ingredient science trends to inform pipeline innovation.
• Build strong relationships with ingredient houses, technical partners and manufacturers.

• Experience in a scientific or technical role within beauty, personal care or related industry.
• Qualification in cosmetic science, dermatology, formulation chemistry or similar.
• Commercially aware, balancing scientific rigour with business goals.
• Industry network across suppliers, manufacturers and academia.
• Happy to travel globally for conferences and supplier visits.
