Inventory Demand Planner

Reporting to the Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, the Inventory Demand Planner will support order-to-delivery and end-to-end supply chain processes, partnering with the commercial organization to deliver high‑quality, cost‑competitive solutions. The role is hybrid in Glen Allen, VA, requiring presence in the office four days a week.

• Champion a culture of safety, setting the standard for best practices in every task.
• Take charge of inventory forecasting and seamless execution for both bulk (truckload) and mini‑bulk (tote‑drum) deliveries, ensuring customers receive what they need, when they need it.
• Drive supply chain optimization through enhanced routing, negotiating win‑win agreements and developing sustainable, long‑term solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable results across key performance indicators.
• Improve delivery, on‑time performance, and communication, proactively reducing customer delays and enhancing satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Transportation/Logistics, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent) and 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3‑5 years of logistics/transportation/distribution experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, project‑management, and cross‑functional influence skills.

• 1‑2 years of work‑related experience in environmental chemical treatment, preferably with a chemical manufacturer or distributor.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain management, including procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation.

Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 USD per year. Bonus pay may be available. Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan. The compensation range may be modified in the future and is based on multiple factors such as education, experience, location, and performance.
