What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail environment.

* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor areas, common areas, entrances, exits, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

* Monitor access points, support closing and opening activities as directed, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.

* Assist with crowd management, guest directions, and customer inquiries while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter disruptions and supports daily retail operations.

Minimum Requirements:

* A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience is required.

* Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent, is required.

* A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

* Customer service experience is preferred.

* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
