Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of Garage Door Installer. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing of all the products we sell. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable contributing and working in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced, and fun work environment. Primary duties include:

• Delivering and installing garage doors, openers, and a variety of appliances and electronics into customers’ homes & businesses
• Moving and lifting heavy products safely using a variety of equipment (dollies, straps, etc.)
• Performing light carpentry and electrical work
• Processing electronic delivery tickets
• Having at least two years of field experience
• Troubleshooting and serving/repairing garage doors and openers
• Replacing garage door springs

• Pass a DOT physical & drug test
• Valid driver’s license
• Team oriented
• Able to participate in daily physical labor
• Saturday availability required
• Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property
• Mechanical aptitude
• Problem‑solving skills
• General knowledge of technology
