KSM Carrier Group is a growing transportation company focused on safety, security, and operational excellence. We work with customers that have strict compliance and quality expectations, and we take pride in operating transparently and responsibly. We are looking for a Quality Manager who can own our quality systems and help guide the company through current and future certifications.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing and continuously improving KSM’s Quality Management System, security standards, and compliance programs. This role will play a key part in incident response, audits, customer requirements, and certification efforts. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, and comfortable working cross‑functionally with Safety, Operations, Maintenance, and Leadership.

• Manage and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
• Monitor and investigate quality and security incidents, including seal breaches, theft attempts, and temperature deviations
• Ensure timely, accurate internal and external communication during quality‑related events
• Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and records
• Prepare for, support, and lead internal and external audits
• Supervise and support certification and compliance initiatives, including:
  • TAPA TSR-1
  • CTPAT
  • FAST
• Work closely with leadership to support the process of becoming a bonded carrier
• Collaborate with Safety, Maintenance, and Operations to strengthen security and quality controls
• Support customer quality reviews, compliance questionnaires, and insurance or claim documentation

• 3+ years of experience in quality management, compliance, or operational roles within transportation, logistics, or supply chain
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • GDP / GxP principles
  • ISO 9001
  • TAPA
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience working with or supervising certification and compliance programs (existing or in‑progress)
• Familiarity with CTPAT requirements and customs/security processes
• Understanding of supply chain security, high‑value freight, and controlled shipments
• Strong documentation, audit, and process‑management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure
