Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Gloucester and the surrounding areas from September 2026. • Supervising classes across a range of secondary school subjects.
• Delivering pre‑planned lesson activities and instructions provided by teaching staff.
• Maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring a productive learning environment.
• Encouraging student participation and engagement throughout lessons.
• Adhering to school policies, safeguarding procedures, and classroom expectations.

• Experience working with young people in any setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence managing groups of students within a classroom environment.
• Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach to work.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
