Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Gloucester and the surrounding areas from September 2026. With both short‑term and long‑term opportunities available, this role is perfect for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or anyone interested in building a career within education.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Supervising classes across a range of secondary school subjects.
- Delivering pre‑planned lesson activities and instructions provided by teaching staff.
- Maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring a productive learning environment.
- Encouraging student participation and engagement throughout lessons.
- Adhering to school policies, safeguarding procedures, and classroom expectations.
- Competitive daily rates with weekly PAYE payments.

- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
