KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support bids and proposal activities as required.
- Coordinate and administer configuration & data management activities related to engineering documents (work products).
- Ensure configuration, data and change activities are followed by configuration management policies and contractual requirements.
- Review and analyze engineering change data and coordinate changes with design, systems engineering, quality, operations, manufacturing and contracts.
- Use CM tools for configuration identification, configuration control, product release and delivery.
- Establish and maintain program CM systems, release and manage configuration baselines.
- Execute and continuously improve all process steps required to maintain product baselines.
- Interface with cross‑functional business teams to provide solutions to a variety of technical challenges.
- Coordinate and lead Configuration/Change Control Boards (CCBs).
- University degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR 9 years of experience in Configuration Management if a degree is not held.
- Experience with databases (SAP, ERP, PDM, CABS, PRISM, and/or other related databases).
- Proficiency with MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of EIA-649, configuration management standards and principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
- Ability to identify potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data and take corrective action as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to support multiple ongoing projects and parallel release activities.
- Experience working in an engineering team environment, interfacing with hardware, systems or test engineers.
