Principal Systems Security Engineer (SSE) - P4
Location:
Goleta, CA. Position Type:
Onsite. U.S. citizenship required. U.S. government issued Secret clearance required.
- Perform Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis.
- Generate, decompose, derive, and analyze SSE requirements.
- Conduct and document SSE trade studies, recommend paths forward.
- Create systems engineering models and artifacts, including functional block, sequence, and activity diagrams.
- Develop the program Anti‑Tamper Plan.
- Develop and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) plans and procedures.
- Present in internal and external customer reviews and program milestones.
- Report tasking status and communicate with program and functional leadership.
- Travel up to 25% as necessary.
- Raytheon Anti‑Tamper Learning program.
- Raytheon Cybersecurity Bootcamp.
You Must Have
- Typically a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance required prior to start.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Experience in the development, design, and/or implementation of embedded security products and technologies.
- Must be able to work independently and be a motivated self‑starter.
We Prefer
- Experience with Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis.
- Experience with Anti‑Tamper Engineering Framework (ATEF).
- Familiarity with DoD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems.
- Experience with defense‑grade and commercial‑off‑the‑shelf security devices and components.
- Experience with engineering team leadership.
