Our Solar business delivers industry leading, U.S.

-made solar components. We manufacture hyper-pure polysilicon, high-quality solar wafers and innovative photovoltaic modules, leveraging our leadership in advanced manufacturing to serve growing energy demand. You will be a part of advancing critical U.S. supply chains and delivering unmatched quality and reliability to customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and process expertise in Crystal Pulling process related to monocrystalline silicon Czochralski (Cz) Crystal growth supporting SOLAR wafer manufacturing process.

• Serve as the primary technical expert resource for Cz crystal pulling processes, including process and equipment start up, process optimization and process improvements supporting SOLAR wafer manufacturing process.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency in Cz crystal pulling process.
• Develop and implement robust quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of crystal quality are maintained.
• Lead efforts to troubleshoot technical issues related to crystal pulling process, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to address process deviations and improve process reliability.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to engineering and manufacturing personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge in crystal growth processes and techniques.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of direct experience in Solar or Semiconductor silicon CZ crystal growth, wafer manufacturing or a closely related field, with a proven track record of technical leadership and expertise.
• In-depth knowledge of solar or semiconductor silicon CZ crystal manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials with associated familiarity with wafer manufacturing process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and advancements in Crystal pulling techniques, equipment, and materials, and evaluate their potential impact on process performance and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, operations, and quality assurance teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and resolve technical challenges related to Crystal Pulling.
• Maintain accurate documentation of crystal pulling processes, procedures, and technical specifications, and prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders.
• General awareness and ability to run basic statistical analysis, process optimization techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The range for this position is $-$ assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
