Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Cashier
Base Pay
Minimum base pay $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay based on experience.
PurposeAs a Cashier (Customer Service Associate), you are the first and final interaction for Floor & Decor’s customers. Our Cashiers provide excellent customer service through greeting, checking out, handling returns, performing basic cash office functions and delivering an exceptional experience.

Essential Job Functions- Greet customers in a helpful and courteous manner.
- Connect with customers, ask about projects, recommend products and excite them about their purchase.
- Provide above‑and‑beyond customer service and exceed expectations.
- Demonstrate compliance with safety processes and company core values.
- Process checkouts using the POS system.
- Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
- Open and close registers and follow cash acceptance procedures.
- Answer the telephone per guidelines.
- Stock, tag, display merchandise and create price tags and signage.
- 18 years or older.
- Basic math skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Potential travel to other stores for support.
Medium work: ability to exert 20‑50 lbs occasionally, 10‑25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly for lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects. Requires use of hands and fingers, occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
